Want to compost but don’t have the time, space or desire to manage your own system?

The Refillery is teaming up with Carbon Compost to offer Squirrel Hill residents a convenient way to recycle kitchen scraps and other organic waste.

How it works:

1. Pick-up your bin(s) from the The Refillery (1931 Murray Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217)

2. Fill the bin with compostable material

3. Bring the filled bin(s) to The Refillery anytime during regular store hours to swap it with a fresh one

4. Your impact is tracked and shared monthly. Track how many pounds of waste you divert from the landfill, the corresponding amount of soil created, and greenhouse gas emissions reduced.
